Special Early Bird Proxy Prize Drawings Announced!
Due to circumstances beyond Koniag's control, the packets mailed to Shareholders containing proxy materials and the annual report allowed little time before the first scheduled Early Bird Drawings on October 12, 2008. To accommodate those affected Shareholders, the Koniag Board of Directors has authorized two (2) additional Early Bird prize drawings of $1,000 for proxies received by mail or e-voting before 5:00 pm on October 19, 2008. These two drawings will be in addition to the ten (10) Early Bird prize drawings of $100 scheduled also on October 19. First Alaskans Institute Hosts Award Reception in Kodiak
On Tuesday evening, July 29, 2008, the First Alaskans Institute hosted a reception for the public at the Kodiak Fisheries Research Center. The reception was to introduce the First Alaskans Institute staff and Board of Trustees to members of the Kodiak Community, and also to recognize the Alutiiq Heritage Foundation (the governing body of the Alutiiq Museum) and Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) for the awards they received from the Institute. more...
